In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Muse.”
Flowers are definitely my muse. But as much as I love their exquisite beauty, I am finding more and more that I am drawn to those small imperfections. The falling petals, the brown spots, the chew marks where some insect has had a feast. The windblown or rain beaten blooms shimmer for me. But still they are exquisitely beautiful.
And so it is with us humans, when we are windblown, rain beaten or chewed on by life, the exquisite beauty is there to shine forth. If only we will stop and see.
You are a philosopher. The cracks and dents that life causes definitely make for strength of character and a rich personality, which has its own beauty.
Thank you and yes I agree, there is a beauty that can only come with “the cracks and dents” of life.
right on right oN! 😎 i agree with heavenly one above 🙂
