“Everything has beauty but not everyone sees it.”
In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Inspiration.”
Inspiration- the exquisite beauty of the created world I find in my own backyard.
Isaiah 6:3 “….the whole earth is full of His glory.”
Can you see it?
Do you see that swath of yellow against the vividness of red?
Who but the Master could create such beauty?
It is said that beauty is fleeting.
But I beg to differ.
I say that beauty never leaves,
it just takes the eyes of love to see it.
“…. seeing our Father in everything makes life one long thanksgiving and gives a rest of heart, and, more than that, a gayety of spirit, that is unspeakable.”
Hannah Whitall Smith
Jesus’s word from John 10:10
….”I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.”
Some gifts are harder to see.
Harder to find.
Hidden from view.
Perhaps that makes them all the more precious.
Sometimes in order to see the gifts all around me,
I need new eyes.
A different perspective-
Coming at life backwards-
Seeing from a different angle.
